District Profile
Profile in Brief
The Perkins-Tryon School District is a growing school district priding itself on excellent academic and extra-curricular programs. While large enough to provide a broad range of programs and courses, we are small enough to get to know students and parents providing a personal touch to our student’s education.
Our district consists of two communities, Perkins and Tryon, and is located in parts of three counties (Payne, Lincoln, and Logan). The district encompasses 197 square miles and operates seven (7) regular route buses. Our total district enrollment is presently 1,591 students, attending one high school (9-12), one middle school (6-8), one intermediate school (3-5), and one elementary school (PK-2).
With the addition of many new businesses and new residents, our district evaluation has grown steadily. The Perkins area economy is expanding and as the area continues to thrive the school district will continue to prosper. The district’s 2024-2025 evaluation is $97,295,844.
Our school district always stands ready to provide the best possible education for our students as we prepare them for the future.
